I really enjoyed Holes.
A:I've finished a book about Armpit and X-Ray.
It will be published in January. The title is Small Steps.
3年後、Armpit and X-Ray are back at Camp Green Lake

みなさんこんにちは。ペギー双葉山です。
Marvin Redpost応援団として、読み方の注意事項
というほどでもないですが・・
・子供の手の届く場所に保管してください。
・成人は1日1冊以内
■ 児童書に慣れておこう!
GRを中心に読まれていた方は、やはりとっつきにくいと思います。
いきなりだと、私も難しいと思っただろうと思います。
私はMRにたどり着くまでに、まずGRを90万語読み、次に、
・Magic Tree House #1〜16
・Nancy Draw Notebooks #1〜10
・Full House Michell #1〜10
を読みました。
その後にMRをサクサク読んだので、非常に面白かったのです。
初めて読んだ Magic Tree House は、非常に読みにくく感じ、
慣れるのに、10冊ほどかかりました。
しかし、パターンを理解すると、読みやすくなりました。
児童書にある程度慣れておくと、面白さ倍増ですよ!
・・具体的には・・
■ 飛ばし読みに慣れよう!
GRには出てこない単語がたくさん出てきます。
少しずつステップアップしてきた場合、
ほとんど理解できる状態だ、ということが多かったのでは・・・?
児童書の場合、全部理解できる、ということは
あまりありません。(私の場合ですが)
6〜7割理解できていたらOKという気持ちに切り替えましょう。
それでも、同じレベルのものをたくさん読んでいると、
だんだん理解度が上がっていきます。
