I gave it a try but it was so tough!!

Hi, everyone! This is Kian.

I have a picture book without lines.
It is 'Miffy's dream'.
A few days ago, I tried to make lines for the book and to rhyme them.
It was so tough!!
I managed to make lines and showed them to my teacher.
He said ' You did so well!' and then ' If I were you I would write...'.
He and I had a long talk and he corrected them.
His lines were much better than mine, of course.
And we figured that reading rhyme was easy but writing it was difficult.
But it was good experience for me!

I knew rhyme when I read Matilda by Dahl.
Matilda made a rhyme for Miss Honney.
It was very very lovely poem.
I'd like to make such rhyme sume day.

*** I can imagine how hard it is to make a rhyme・・・ we need a good vocabulary, correct pronunciation, and a lot of imagination.

〉And we figured that reading rhyme was easy but writing it was difficult.
*** Indeed!  I tried it myself, and realized it was really difficult.
This is what I did.  

   I walk with Sancho, my little lovely dog.
   Rain or shine; even in the fog.
      We walk through woods in the frosty park.
      We walk with stars at night so dark.
   When I throw his ball in the field,
   He runs and jumps at it never to yield.
      He often puts his head on my laps at ease.
      I feel his warmness, patting him to please.

Miffy's Dream

Miffy is on a cloud.
It is a nice cloud.
She is floating in the sky.
She has a wonderful sight.
Where dees the cloud take Miffy?
Miffy meets Taffy.
They are facing each other.
They are floating together.
They are floating to the stars.
Now, they are playing with the stars.
Miffy and Taffy find shooting-stars.
They ride on the shooting-stars.
Oh, there is the moon.
We are coming soon.
The cresent is a slide.
They are happy and sigh.
It is getting colder.
They hold their shoulders,
Miffy and Taffy sleep happily together.

My teacer's one is much better, of course.
But he needed much time to correct mine.
So making a rhyme is very very difficult!

I have never looked at Miffy's Dream (I've read many other Miffy books, though), but when I read your lines, I could imagine the story・・・ what Miffy did in her dream and how she enjoyed the trip on a cloud.

Your lines remind me of my childhood.
When I was a small girl, I often flew in the sky in my dreams・・・　sometimes on a cloud, and sometimes with my own wings.
And those days I really believed I could fly .
