I've been to Peking and Shanghai with my wife some years ago.
(It was our honey moon trip. Mufu, mufu, mufu.)
Our driver was also eager to go through cars.
How dangerous it was!
I couldn't believe my eyes.
But our Chinese guide said calmly,
“Don't be surprised. Don't be worry. It is normal in China.”

You couldn't understand it
probably because the recetion-person said the words 'Credit Card'
in a strong Chinese accent.
Some Chinese people speak English as they speak Chinese!
So it is very difficult to understand what they say.

〉They were for Christmas.
