Early New Year Present

A happy new year, everybody!
This is Moring.
I accidentally got a new year present yesterday.
Guess what! It was 84 English paper backs.

I'm in Osaka now. And I stay my parents' house.
Yesterday evening I went to Cafe that I usualy visit when I'm in Osaka.
When I out the Cafe, I visited a small used book store next to the Cafe.
And I found English paper backs at a sale box outside the store.
Their prices are 100 yen each, because sale.
I picked up some. And I found most of them are children books.
There is a "THE CHOCOLATE WAR". There are some PUFFIN BOOKs.
Also I found a DAHL's book, "Switch Bitch", but this looks not for children.
Any way I wanted buy these books.
Then I had counted the number of them. 84, that was.
This said the cost for all of them was 8400 yen.
I thought this store usually does not sell English books.
Then I went to check counter for asking more discount.
I asked a man at the check counter how much I must pay if I would buy all of them.
At last he gave me discount, or had offered 7300 yen for 84 books.
I had agreed that offer, and bought them all.

I think almost books are level 4 to 8.
Then I may read these books near future.
But if average word count of these books is 30,000 words,
there are 2,520,000 words for 84 books.
This mean I may use whole this new year for these books?

Yes!! Very yes. Exactly same city is I am.
I'd surprised. Because I did not realize there is any Tadokist who
are whatching this boad in Takatsuki when I found those books.
And the cafe's name is JK Cafe. It is near the Hankyu-Takatsuki station and Root 171.

I think you are a very lucky man. Because there are few opportunities
to get books written in English at used-book stores, I guess. These
books may be not very popular.

I live in a small town of Shiga pref, very countryside, so there is
no SSS book reading club around here. Then after I started SSS style
Extensive Reading last year, I had to buy all books I want to read.
It means I need much money, so I often visit used-book stores in
order to look for books good for me recently. But I could find no
books I wanted till now there.

So, I think you are very lucky. Those books you had got may be the
present from God for you, very nice and earnest book reader.

Anyway, your message informed me that there were chances to get books
I wanted at some used-book stores still now, though being very rare.

I think my case is very rare case, but it could be.

Those books were pressed at 1970s or '80s.
Maybe someone used to a kind of Tadoku-Reading 20 or 30 years ago.
Then he/her would sell those books to that small used book store.

It reminds me of your message about synchronicity. (You found an article about Prince William in Newsweek and one of the books you had brought with you was PGR1"Prince William”.)
I read it last year and very impressed .So I wanted to write back to you, but Accidentally I deleted my whole writing and I didn’t have time to write all over again . I regret it.

These books are not exactly connected to something, like your "Prince William" events, but they are from Level4 to Level 8 and just right for you!
