英語多読クラスは、物語全体をまるごと読むことで、英語を英語のまま理解し、英語を英語のまま処理できるようになってきたら、徐々にインプット・アウトプットの精度をあげていくクラスです。
多読・多聴とWriting&Presentation を中心とする中３多読ＣＤEクラスと、多読と多聴を中心とする多読多聴Ｒクラス(中３・高１混成)と、があります。
★多読指導は、各自の力・好みに合わせた個別指導です★
ＳＥＧの多読クラスは、多読・多聴指導を主軸とした新しい英語指導のコースです。多読指導は、完全な個別指導でで、受講生の英語学習経験・読書経験に合わせて個別で適切な本を読んでいただきます。
英語が苦手な方には、易しい絵本から読んでもらいますし、英語が得意な方には、自分が辞書無しで快適に読めるレベルの本から読んでもらいます。
実際、昨年度の中３夏期講習では、昔からいる生徒がThe Da Vinci CodeやThe Sky is Falling のような一般のペーパバックを読んでいる隣で、新規受講の生徒が
Oxford Reading TreeやFoundations Reading LIbraryのような基礎レベルの本を読んでいる光景が見られました。
★「多読＋All
Englishでの授業」、「多読特化」 とクラスは２タイプ★
中３多読ＣＤEクラスでは、毎回の授業で、80分を日本人講師が日本語で多読多聴指導、80分を英語を母語とする講師あるいはバイリンガルの講師が、All
Englishで精読・会話・Writing・Presentationの指導をします。
中３多読クラスでは、通常授業・季節講習の授業内に行うクラス分け試験の結果で、基礎（C）・標準(D)・上級(E)の3レベルに分けて少人数クラスで指導します。（曜日によっては、Ｃ,Ｅの設定のないクラスもあります） なお、授業のレベルは異なりますが、ＣＤEクラスは、使用テキスト、進行進度はほぼ同じですので、クラスが変わっても、何か抜けることはありません。多読指導では、クラスによらず、個人の能力は青天井で伸びますのでご安心ください。
多読多聴Ｒクラスは、多読・多聴に特化したクラスです。英語に苦手意識が強い方、英語が得意でＳＥＧでは読書を集中的にしたい方、家では読書の時間がとれないので授業中集中的に多読したい方のためのクラスです。
なお、多読多聴Rクラスは、１年間固定の高１との混成クラスです。年度の途中で、ＣＤＥ、Ｒ間のクラス変更も可能です。
★間違いを気にせず、話したり書いたりしてもらいます★
中３英語多読CDEクラスでは、普通の速度で英語を話せ、和英辞書を使わずに英文を書けるようになることを目的としています。
子供達は、間違いを指摘されると自由に発話することができません。講師は正しい英語に直して復唱する形で、修正を行いますが、発言をしている時に、間違いを指摘することはしませんし、また、発言を強制することもしません。なお、多読Ｒクラスでは、授業は多読・多聴・シャドーイングが中心となるので、話す・書くは各自の自習になります。なお、生徒の英語力・性格等を把握した指導をするため、１クラスの人数は、１６名程度までとしています。

多読： 教室および図書室内の多読図書５万冊 なお、記録には、SEG作成の読書記録手帳を用います。
【ＣＤＥ共通教材】
精読： ５〜６回で一冊のペースで授業中にリスニングしながら読み、課外で設問を解いてもらいます。
Writing&Presentation: 3月〜8月 CDE 共通 New Storyteller (Macmillan)
9月〜2月D/Eクラス：Writing ｆrom Within Level 2(Cambridge)
Cクラス：Writing ｆrom Within Level 1(Cambridge)
【授業形式】
ＣＤEクラス 180分の授業を、８０分×２＋休憩２０分にわけ、半分が多読、半分がWriting
& Presentation
多読：一斉精読（リスニング）は共通の本を読みます。それ以外は、各自のレベルと好みの本を読みます。
Writing&Presentation: 一斉授業形式です。授業内にWriting, Presentation,Discussion の時間をとります。
Ｒクラス 180分の授業全体を個別多読にあてますが、30分程度Shadowing, Listeningの時間をとります。
【入会方法】
(１) 「春期 中３多読C・D・E／多読多聴入門」のいずれかの講習を受講してください。
※２学期、３学期からの途中入会の場合は、夏期、冬期講習の「多読多聴入門」または、「多読多聴R」をまず受講してください。
(2) 講習最終日に、クラス分け試験を行います。 本人の希望と試験結果に従って、
通常授業 中3英語多読C・D・E 多読多聴Rのいずれかの受講手続きをしてください。
(3) 講習が受講できない方は、個別に受付にご相談ください。（別途試験受験が必要です）
