お二人の経歴と 子どもの頃好きだった本、 気に入っているGRの本
を紹介します。
Rob Waring
Dr. Rob Waring was born in the UK. He is Associate Professor at Notre Dame Seishin Women's University in Okayama. His primary research interests are vocabulary acquisition and reading. He is a regular presenter on the ETJ lecture tour and has published a guide to Extensive reading for Oxford University Press. He will be co-conference chair for JALT 2005 in Shizuoka.
> When you were a child, which book was your most favorite one?
My favourite book when I was a child was Gerald Durrell's My family and other animals.
> Which Graded Readers are your most favorite ones?
My favourite graded readers are Jojo's story by Cambridge University Press, and the Elephant Man and Love Story by Oxford.

Julian Bamford is Professor in the Department of Information and Communications at Bunkyo University Shonan Campus, Chigasaki. He is co-author (with Richard R. Day) of 'Extensive Reading in the Second LanguageClassroom,' and co-editor (with Day) of 'Extensive Reading Activities forTeaching Language' (both Cambridge University Press).
I grew up in the UK, and then lived in the United States for 10 years.
> When you were a child, which book was your most favorite one?
When I was small, I loved "Peter Rabbit." At high school, my favorite book
was the same as Rob's: My Family and Other Animals. It is still a favorite.
(The Penguin Readers version of that book is very disappointing, I think.)
> Which Graded Readers are your most favorite ones?
Hmm. I think I'll have to go with Rob again: Jojo's Story.
