I do not know about British history very well, either.
After reading the book by Oxford, I read a Japanese book
about Mary, Queen Of Scots and Elizabeth Ｉ.

The book says that Mary Tudor, Queen Mary I of England
got the nickname of Bloody Mary.
During her reign, Mary Ｉ who was a Catholic burned more
than 300 Protestants.
That is why Mary Ｉ is called "Bloody Mary".
