Doctor to speak on the latest in fertilization
Osaka University Genome Information Research Center is inviting people to its monthly English-language seminar, between 4:30p.m. and 5:30p.m. on Feb. 1, at its facility on the university's campus in Suita, Osaka Prefecture.
Dr. Naokazu Inoue, research fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, will talk on the latest methods for fertilization. In Japan, an estimated one in 10 couples of childbearing age is sterile. Dr. Inoue will talk about current fertilization practices, including new methods and various problems.
The venue, Iden Joho Jikken Center, is located just inside the university's gate. The nearest station is Kita-senri station on the Hankyu Line.
Admission is free. Those who wish to attend must make a reservation by Jan. 30.
